Re: little title things???

Hey @GonePirate,

The titles don't mean anything much at all. The only difference between the ones you have stepped through so far is number of posts. The only difference between 'senior contributor' and 'community guide' is that last year the moderators needed some assistance to keep up with the number of new members arriving during mental health week and so the most active members at that time were invited to step up to the plate and we've remained with that designation. 'Moderators' are the people from various mental health organisations who oversee the posts behind the scenes (like the 'Mod Squad' at Blueboard). 'Community Managers' are @NikNik and @CherryBomb, who manage the site and are the most regularly present of the moderators on the site. Personally I'm not into hierarchies. But, yeah, that's the structure here. Smiley Wink

good to know thanks

Re: little title things???

Good question, Cap'n 😉

I notice I'm also senior, and I still haven't figured my way around the site yet 😄 😄 😄

Re: little title things???

I believe the titles are an unneeded divide. Mental illness divides me enough, and I'd prefer an environment that does not specify seniority or hierarchy.

Re: little title things???

I agree with you, @believeinme 🙂

Don't worry, you'll soon be senior, like me 🙂 I'm hardly ever here hahahahaha

Still don't know my way around 😄

Hugs 🙂 :):)

Re: little title things???

I can remember when I first started a job with "senior" in the titled,

first thought was "ah bugger, I'm probably in over my head"

second thought was "Good, I like a bit of pressure on my work"

third thought was "damn I should have asked for more money"

fourth thought was "but I'm not that old, senior makes me sound old"

fifth thought was "bugger, I have been doing this stuff for a few years"

After some time to think, I found out it just meant I wasn't a junior 😛
