Once, in a tired and muzzy state of mind, I called them "Spat Farrows" instead of "Fat Sparrows". I love little finches and suchlike, not fond of sparrows because they get into the chook's cage to scavenge seed and leave their droppings everywhere. 😛

Haha @Former-Member, have you ever cooked popcorn & watched it jumping in the pan? @Faith-and-Hope has a story about little birds bouncing around her at a cafe. Not knowing the name of them she called them Popcorns 🙂 She must have posted a pic 'cause @Adge (our bird expert) and I both thought they looked like sparrows 🙂
