A long rave

Re: A long rave

@soul Hey Jellyfish 🙂 how are you going? It is great to have you back again after you being away for awhile.

Re: A long rave

hello @saturnzoon

hoping that you are keeping your head above water...

a huge struggle not knowing where you are moving to next..

I found and am still coming to terms with moving...we had a solution...so cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling at this minute.,..

I know that my "family member" has been through this situation...yet  due to his symptoms has not shared the experience..

so I really do feel for you as I know how I felt with my "family member"

letting you know that am here supporting you through this..as are other forum members...

Re: A long rave

I'm up way earlier than I would like to be so I thought I'd say hi here in case anyone else was up too (though hoping you're all sleeping well) 🙂

Re: A long rave

Good morning, @CheerBear. Wondering if you are still up and about. Heart Woman Happy

Re: A long rave

Good morning @Mazarita 😊

Yep, still up and here listening to the birds 🙂

How was your yesterday and your evening?

Re: A long rave

@CheerBear, birds have started here too, not long ago, though sky still dark. Woman Happy

Yesterday was really a bit difficult but I felt relatively okay by the end of it. Went to the GP about the chest pain I had last week, discovered I have elevated blood pressure for the first time in my life, and ECG shows borderline signs of a condition that predisposes to heart arrhythmia. More tests and referral to public hospital cardiologist coming up.

Aside from that, I had racing mind and nerves all day, for no apparent reason. So not the best day of my life, but not the worst. Was good to get out and about on the buses and into the sunshine.

How have you been? I wasn't on the forum at all yesterday.

Re: A long rave

Oh gosh @Mazarita. Sorry to hear. Will you have to wait long for the referral? That would have been a scary surprise I imagine.

I wasn't on the forum much yesterday either. Strangely also unwell and at the doctor myself. I struggled to shake the cold I caught a couple of weeks ago and have been having big trouble with asthma for a few days. Yesterday I was so out of breath and exhausted that just taking a basket to the line was enough to need to rest. 5 medications (something to keep temp down, antibiotics for a sinus infection, 2 different inhalers, and a steroid) later, and a warning about the danger in trying to push through asthma, and I think I learned my lesson :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Anything on for you for the day? How are the nerves and racing head this morning?

Re: A long rave

@CheerBear, sorry to hear you are not well too. That's a swag of medications. Maybe related to the stressful time you are going through?

I need to organise a fasting blood test today, for as soon as possible (hopefully Wednesday). When the results of that come through, GP will refer me to public hospital (can't afford the faster, private methods). How long it takes to my appointment will depend on how urgent the hospital rates me. I've also had a headache for the past five days, not severe, but there all the time. Have only had about 3 hours sleep overnight and woke with it feeling worse. It's eased a bit since I took some pain relief (the kind that also helps with heart issues). I actually have a bit of chest pain as I'm writing to you, not severe. Monitoring it, as I may need to get some advice from the government health line if it continues too long. The nerves and racing head are settled at the moment, gladly. Nothing planned for today aside from making appointments and trying not to get too anxious or panicky about all this new heart stuff happening.

What's on for you today?

Re: A long rave

Oh dear @Mazarita. So glad you're on to it. Hopefully whatever is going on is easily dealt with and resolved soon. Appointments and trying to stay calm sounds like a good plan today. Big hugs to you.

Today I would like to try and get to Bunnings and to do some more gardening, including mowing and whipper-snippering for the house inspection next week. Something inside me is telling me that I need to pay attention to the lesson I learned yesterday and that my plan to do anything involving physical activity may not be the best idea I've ever had though, so we'll see.

Grocery shopping is a need to do either way today.

Re: A long rave

Sounds like we could both use a bit of resting up today, @CheerBear. Maybe the gardening tasks are not the best idea, though I understand how things sometimes just need to be done for the likes of a rental inspection.

We have one of those coming up too at the start of November. Smiley Frustrated
