Best to get these things done as soon as possible @outlander but I can appreciate that is needs to be the right time too - you will know if it is right or not in the moment
Doing 2 things with one phone call is great - you have done that now so you can tick that off your list. I know you hve been putting some things off but tht just adds to your anxiety - better to get them done sooner rather than later and then the what if's and questions are minimised in your mind.

That is really sucky @Faith-and-Hope - I think I expected you to have some beautiful old heritage buildings to draw - I am not so much a fan of many of the more modern buildings so can understand your frustration there - then to have a fire drill just adds to that frustration... at least it was only a drill though and you are safe

Yes it is done now @outlander
Do you have any plans for this afternoon - or is it just a chill out time until you see your mum and decide whether to talk to her or not?

@Zoe7Tortoise speed is fine. Just keep moving a little, even through the winter months.

Thanks @Appleblossom - definitely having some small wins along the way - it is helping me keep going right now!
I need to try to keep these 2 hydrotherapy sessions per week - stay in that routine even when I do not have the motivation for it like today - really didn't want to go but knew I would be ok when I got there so pushed myself - glad I did

@Zoe7I have had a few years going to the pool. It can be so hard in winter and to get started, but the benefits are there.
@outlander Glad you are steady, and communicating about whats needed, even when you feel badly.
@Faith-and-Hope A lot of us prefer ole heritage buildings, but modern architecture is here to stay. I find the rationalisations for the forms more interesting that the look ... I hope it was a one off session and you get back to drawing what satisfies YOU.

I think it is harder to do most things in winter @Appleblossom - I know I definitely struggle with the shorter daylight hours each day and the colder weather! I much prefer Summer
The pool has been good for me though - I can feel the difference in my back and although there is a lot more work to do it does seem to be improving. It doesn't take me 3 or 4 days now to recover from a session so that is positive. I would like to add a 3rd session in a week but that may be pushing myself too much right now - so 2 will suffice.
