Re: Fragile

Oh @Appleblossom apologies I'm sure you've agonised over all angles. I guess all I can say is I'm listening and I care deeply. I hope the departure overseas is the usual vacation you've referenced and not longer.

Re: Fragile

Hi @Appleblossom sounds like you’ve had an active morning.

I, for some reason, found it difficult today but also managed to have interactions with random people and we had a laugh, even though I felt dreadful. It’s interesting that we do that, not show our true selves, or perhaps feelings.

I am glad you are taking care of yourself with mindfulness and self-care. I had a quick lie down on the lounge on my verandah after I got home from shopping etc.

Off to do some more things now, before the guilt gets too bad.

I hope you find some peaceful moments at least in the rest of your day

Re: Fragile

@Appleblossom really hope you haven't felt ignored by me. I haven't replied much lately and for that I'm sorry. Sending you hugs and I'm here for you ❤️

Re: Fragile

Hugs @Dreamy I know you do the best you can and have a lot on your plate too.... Ah... Metaphors... Sometimes they can have too many associations.... Hope you are managing all life's essentials.

Re: Fragile

Thanks sweet @Appleblossom. life likes to just keep throwing things my way. I'm sorry though if you felt ignored or dismissed by me at all, I truly am. I've been struggling to find the words to reply to alot of posts lately.

Re: Fragile

Dear @Dimity no need for apologies. Yes I have agonised in all sorts of directions about it.  I am doing due diligence of consulting widely. Including with an OT and psychologist and friends. You being you, and sharing your experience and your caring is helpful. Don't worry.

@Till23 it is odd how we can find a way to be social and light hearted even though going through stuff. I walked with my support worker to local beach... Made old man laugh cos he had 2 gorgeous dogs on lead because they get all the compliments, not him. Lol

Also made girl at cash register laugh. However really I am going through major issues, needing to make decisions and not just numb the pain with meds and do nothing.

I am slowly taking off my rose coloured glasses.

Nobody owns a thread, but there are different ways of showing respect and inclusion…. Eg tagging or relating about conversation. I am not sure if it is deliberate or unintentional, but felt I should mention it.

Hi @Appleblossom - just wanted to touch base and let you know I am hearing you. If you'd like to discuss this further please feel free to reach out to the team via team@saneforums.org

Re: Fragile

Oh @Appleblossom I was not aware that people considered people who were on NDIS as low life. I would have thought it's because the person had some kind of condition that precluded them from working. I thought it was difficult to get NDIS and you had to have assessments. As you can probably see I am not really across it.

I made a lady laugh while she was waiting for a flu vaccination, just after I'd had mine, so I counted that as a win.

I am sorry that you are in your current situation, hopefully you can get a good team together to help you. I am here though, not that I can probably help in any practical way.
