I am just dropping in to let everyone know I am okay - better than okay

I have been flat-out busy - on Friday and over the weekend I did all my Christmas shopping and wrapped the parcels myself this year - I usually get someone else to do it - I am not handy in that way - 

And today I was at my daughter's place with my family - just 5 or us - it was fun having pressies and people liked money - that's such a good thing - and we had a wonderful dinner - and I came home and went to sleep for hours - really tired

I will catch up tomorrow - I hope everyone's day was the best it could be

So glad you had a good day @Owlunar and that everyone liked their money presents. I got another Bunnungs card from my sister so now I can go silly at Bunnings - really looking forward to that

Yesterday was a big , relaxing in between day

went to chuch first

morning tea with my mum

then travelled 40kms to lunch -- had 9 of us for lunch

afternoon sitting around talking at SIL

then for Dinner there was 7 of us which D1and her partner came , she lost some of her voice because of the flu

raining and windy , same here today

got home at 10pm last night -- could not believe it -- there was a couple of moments when I thought mr shaz was going to get up and  go home

No interstate visit for 5 months yet -- fingers crossed

thinking of visiting next weekend 300 kms away but mr shaz is already changing his mind about going

I have been fine today Zoe and others - I have been taking things easy and just pottering about - pruned back come of the triffid-growth in my back-courtyard - so much rain and then wonderful sunshine have caused this overgrowth and I felt great taking some time out there pruning

Bunnings - yes - I am glad  you got a Bunnings Card and can really spend it up there - I love Bunnings - actually - I went there myself and got a birdbath - it's been out there for days and the birds haven't found it yet - I put some bread on the table next to it today and maybe the birds will arrive in the morning - I can hope - perhaps it will take time for the birds to get used to the idea there is not cat around here now - I can hope

I have been watching "What a Year it was in 2018 - somethings I remember - others I had forgotten - others I had never heard about - amazing how much happens and I fail to notice it - btw - I recorded that on Sunday night I think

Yesterday at my daughter's place was really great - everyone liked their presents and I have received some really nice gifts myself - money presents went down really well. It was a lovely day - pretty hot but this is what I would hope for Christmas Day 

Now I am thinking about my next holiday - I am spoiled for choice - thinking back across 2018 it has been a pretty big year for me too - and rest up at Lakes Entrance and then taking the bus around to Eden then Merrimbula and flying home in a small plane seems like a restful and yet exciting week or 10 days - in the meantime I am jiust thinking about it

And thanks everyone - for being here for each other and for me this year
