Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Not a good day here @Former-Member Thanks for asking. Bad flashbacks doesn't help.
I'm sorry to read that you're not going well yourself. I hope you get a good sleep.
Night night. 🥰😴

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

5am start @Former-Member - not ready so I'll probably be up most the night. Set alarm for every 2hrsin case I fall asleep. Doing Linen cupboard and bathroom and sewingsruf to go.

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Thanks @Shaz51 @outlander @Snowie @NatureLover @Former-Member @Former-Member for your posts last night.

@eth I just spotted you online.  Hope you are doing okay.  And thank you for periodically dropping by here.  I very much appreciate your support.

Sorry you are experiencing further flashbacks @Former-Member ... exhausting in itself, and you have caring duties on top of it.

@Former-Member  ... I hope you got the rest of your packing completed overnight.  Maybe even a couple of hours sleep? Your 5am removalist arrival sounds very early, especially where you are ... cold, frosty, maybe even snow?  So a very early and cold start for you.  Perhaps the removalist is already all packed up and gone.  I hope you find a bit of time to rest and relax before you tackle the big cleanup.  Thinking of you today.

Life is really hard right now, and I'm not feeling very talkative.  Even when I do feel a need to talk, I cant.

I dont know what I need to do.  I dont know what I can do.

Am sorry to hear this, @Former-Member . I hope it becomes clear to you what needs to be done for your wellbeing. It's awful when you are stuck not knowing what's best to do. Even worse if things feel out of your control.

I hope life becomes less hard very soon...that your pain eases, and also that your circumstances improve if possible. Also that you feel able to reach out for help - that you can talk if needed.

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Sending love @Former-Member  Heart  I couldn't put my wishes for you any better than @NatureLover 's last paragraph.  I'm around for a bit now if you do feel like talking.  It seems like something happened yesterday or the night before to trigger you into a difficult space.  There are lots of us here for you when you are ready to share or just sit with you in the meanwhile.  Take good care lovely xoxo

PS waiting on one more letter from my sil regarding unsustainability of my situation living here and that bro and sil will continue to support me when I'm able to live independently (hopefully today) and then my extra evidence should be ready to submit to the housing office.  But this time around I am expecting further requests rather than celebrating.  I was so sure it was complete the first time we lodged it and so disappointed that they asked for so much extra evidence.

Hi to everyone else here doing such lovely support.  @NatureLover @Snowie  and others.

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Thanks @NatureLover @eth  for your very kind thoughts and offers of support. You too @outlander ... your post just came through. Thanks also @Maggie  for your recent tag elsewhere, and for continuing to think of me. But I think I'm now past talking, past helping ... I'm just so tired and upset about everything going on around me. I feel that I'm beyond help ... in way too deep and no way out.

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

thats very much the way im feeling too @Former-Member i dont really have many words so will sit with you in the rabbit hole instead

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

Hi Sherry,

Just checking in as when you expressed being  'in way too deep with no way out' I was very concerned.

It does sound like things have been rough and I am glad you're here and reaching out. The forums are awesome for peer support but when things are really challenging it's important to feel you're able to connect with professional support too.

I wanted to encourage you reach out to the professional supports you have and to connect withother more immediate supports such as Lifeline (13 11 14) and Sucide Call Back Service ( 1300 659 467)

I will send you an email to check you're safe right now.

Ochre.

Re: Living with PTSD (Potentially Triggering Material)

@Former-Member  I have no words, but I do understand how you are feeling, from personal experience. So, just sitting with you, letting you know you are not alone. 🕯🕯🕯

@outlander  Sitting with you also. I follow along on your thread, but have nothing helpful to offer.🕯🕯🕯
