Taking the plunge

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie 😘💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Your new place sounds nice @Maggie although there is a lot that you and Mags need to get used to. I hope that you connect with some people there and that Mags finds her way around and can settle in as well. It is all a big change for you but now you are there you can take your time to sort things out and Mags will be happy just having you back. Thinking of you and Mags Heart

Re: Taking the plunge

@outlander 😘😘 Thanks for dropping by. I will catch your thread soon. I know it's rough for you. Warm thoughts.

@Zoe7 I know things are tough for you atm, so I appreciate your post. I know how hard that is while struggling yourself. I haven't been near your thread today, so won't ask now you are.

i think in time it might be a good move. Finding new places and things is hard for everyone. They were welcoming and caring at lunch. All different ages, male and female. Mags is happy to be here with me. She's snuggling in beside me atm. Warm thoughts @Zoe7

Does anyone know what it means when a text message has two squares?????

Re: Taking the plunge

No idea on the text message with 2 squares - maybe it is graphics that have come from a phone that isn't comoatible with yours - I used to get that with the graphics on here sometimes - ie. something that was meant to be a heart (or something else) came through as a square instead. It was usually when sent from a ipad or iphone and was not compatible with my windows version.

I have had a long day but am resting up this afternoon. Toby is where Mags is - right next to me @Maggie Smiley Tongue

I went in to work to take in my certificates and went to the pool afterwards. It took me a while to get moving this morning but I got there.

Pleased to hear lunch went ok and you met some people, This move may be a blessing in disguise for you - it may be that you find people you really connect with and that will be good for both you and Mags - especially if they have a dog she can play with too Heart

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie Glad to hear that your lunch went well and your new home has many benefits.

ha ha .. re 2 dogs with the mirror.

Gentle hugzHeart

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie logging on to the forum and catching this news of yours from a few days ago feels so good. You've been through a lot but you made it! Biggest "go you" to you and Mags.

I hope you're finding plenty of moments that feel good for you. Did you get to bring some of your garden pretties?

💗💕 (lots of 'em)

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear No, I didn't get any plants from my other garden. It was all rushed in the end. A few hrs out of hospital to sort out the move. I bought some pansies yesterday, so I'm starting to rebuild. It's going to take a lot of adjustments. I really have become a hermit since the divorce and friend exits. Just going slowly. Would like to run at times, but that won't help. I keep telling myself the worst is over, I just have to believe it!!!!

Lots of garden areas here @CheerBear. Black birds everywhere. There is a plover sitting on eggs. Can't wait to see her babies once they come. Nice to see you around when you can manage it. Hope LF are doing okish. I read somewhere one had a fracture. Can't remember if that's healed or healing atm. Lots of these back.💜💕💕💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry to hear you weren't able to take any of your plants @Maggie. A few hours between hospital and the move would have been hard I'd imagine. I didn't have long during my last trip home and it was really tough.

It sounds like you're in a safe place where hopefully with time you'll be able to really feel that the worst is over. I feel excited for you and what great may come with that Maggie 😊

Thanks for your kind thoughts. The littler ones are doing well. Middles arm is still in plaster but it doesn't stop them from doing anything. I watched them nod nicely when the ortho told them no physical activity, and almost saw it go in one ear and out the other. Sigh but it's good to see them bounce so well.

Hugs for you and furbaby 🌸🕊💕

Dear @Maggie

Waves to @Zoe7 @CheerBear @Appleblossom @outlander. A big hello to @Sophia1 as well, whom I have seen a few 'likes' from lately, both here and my own thread. Nice to see you around. Woman Happy

Just dropping by to see how you are getting along.  Its a few days since we last heard from you.  Hopefully by now you are beginning to feel more settled?  Its good that you at least feel safe, ie that its locked up and only residents able to enter after 7pm.

I'm glad to hear that Mags has a balcony and that there are lots of gardens and grounds for you both to walk around.  Have you both mustered the courage to walk and check it all out yet? I think Tassie is due for some rain over the weekend, so perhaps the weather has not been the best.  Shame about the small hot water storage capacity, resulting in a need for short showers.  Would changing your routine to a different time of day make a difference?  Evenings perhaps, rather than mornings?

Glad you liked the house warming gifts I left for you. Yes my rescheduled psych apt is for this Wednesday morning. And yes, I really do rely on her at times.  Probably more so than I care to admit. How did your lunchtime meet and greet go last Tuesday?  Yes hubby had two apts last Tuesday when you enquired. And another on the Thursday.  I had a physio apt last Wednesday.  Thankfully my back spasms have settled a lot and I'm hoping I wont need any more physio sessions.

Lots of love to you too Maggie.
