Re: rough time

Thanks @MDT im watching mystery diners. I havent seen it in ages but i like the show. Have you seen it before?

Re: rough time

Good luck @outlander . Hopefully this will ease much pain and anxiety once it’s all over. Sometimes these experiences, although really hard help build resilience and reduce anxiety.

For me it’s always a bit scary at first with unknowns but then it gets easier I think as we get used to surgery.

Really hoping for the best outcome tomorrow @outlander. 💜🤗

Re: rough time

It's a bit warm here for a hot drink @outlander but I need to take some meds so I'll have a pear juice with you.

You will only need your Medicare card and healthcare card (if you have one) so you don't need to take your wallet. Just your phone. Yes, they will lock it up for you and give it back when you are awake.

How long is your surgery, or have they given you some indication? It's no usually more than an hour give or take. And then you'll be in recovery until you're properly awake, had something to drink and eat and peed. You won't remember or feel anything after they have put an IV in your hand and given you anaesthestic. The only thing that will hurt a little will be the Dr putting in the IV. Your mouth probably won't hurt for some hours as they'll give you a local anaesthestic. You'll just have to be careful with anything hot because your mouth will be numb so you won't feel being burnt. But they will give you instructions on what to do after the surgery. I had my wisdom teeth many years ago with light sedation. You'll be just fine.

Re: rough time

Thank you @Teej this is a first for me but surprisingly im not reacting as bad as id anticipated. The unknowns is the scary bit 💜

Re: rough time

Never had pear juice before @Sans911 but sounds interesting. Care for a tim tam or mint biscuit?
They want all my current medications as well so i gathered they could lock things up for me

They didn't say how long it would take they just gave me list if to do/not to do and list to bring with me and where to check in. Thats it.
Thats partly why i had hoped to go to pre-admissions as i couldve asked all these while i was there .
6 teeth seems like alot 😬 but better then being in pain.
Thanks for explaining that for me, god i hate nee-dles. One of my worst fears.

Re: rough time

I think i have heard of it yeah @outlander
Whats it about?

Re: rough time

I'm watching goggle box atm @outlander
It's a bit crap tbh lol.

Re: rough time

Lol @MDT i dont watch goggle box much. Once you've seen a few eps it seems youve pretty much seem them all.

Mystery diners is where mangers of companies hires undecover investigators to explore their issues like loosing alot of money or something else. So they get cameras and mystery customers to test out what might be happening within their restaurants.
