Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Good job guys @Teej @Appleblossom @Maggie @Faith-and-Hope @Everan

I'm thinking of my daily goals tomorrow- when do you think would be best time to write them?

Staying sane around people struggling with mental health issues takes serious energy and long term commitment ... can be a neverending story.

@Appleblossom  Thanks I just don't want to write goals I will be bored with. I want to start pushing myself to do more. I just lack confidence.

1. Attend specialist appointment

2. Email volunteer program manager

3. Clean out boot of car

4. Walk dogs

5. Make a healthy dinner- something I have not made before (Healthy)

6. Self help book

@Appleblossom  so true appleblossom so true.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

last few days

- got birthday gifts for family member, got card & wrapping paper

- did a strenuous 3 hr hike up a mountain, 4 hrs driving

- did a big load of dishes & tidied the kitchen

- got meds from the pharmacy

Doing a big bunch of cookery now, not sure if I'll have the energy to wash my hair.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Today I bit the bullet and did several things I've been avoiding due to shyness or whatever,

- got my car repaired

- emailed my half sister in a spirit of warmth and not-weird family politics, let's move forward positively

- emailed my half-sister-in-law-in-a-spirit-of-warmth and not-weird family politics, lets move forward in a positive way

- emailed my mentally unwell bro, let's move forward in a tough love kinda way, I care about you

- did coookery

- did grocery shopping

- short walk better than nothing
