Re: Happiness

@eudemonism
I too am a living like a hermit due to extensive body damage, & chronic pain. I have been for 8 years now. I too have always been a home body as you wrote regarding the message before my response. yes, I understand it is not easy, yes I understand having mixed & debilitating feelings, & emotions, even as you worded it- messages-
I am not angry, nor hold anger against you, or anyone, to be truthful.
I am concerned about one thing tho?

@outlander
You need time for your taste buds & maybe System to get used to the Herbal Tea.
1. Add cooled Herbal tea, to a bed time, smoothie. Sip slowly until gone.
2. Add Herbal tea to a small bowl of oats sweetened with honey, & low fat warm milk. Eat slowly 1 hour before bed.
3. Add Herbal tea, honey, cooled water to empty water bottle. Sip slowly in bed until gone.
4. Add Herbal tea to another decafe tea add honey, milk or vanilla essence sip slowly until gone.

If none of the above work 4 you!
Take any Herbal tea bags out of box, throw in the rubbish bin quickly, then eat something yummy, slowly quickly, what ever!! 😜

Good Morning, My Precious One!
I remember many years ago when I first started drinking Herbal tea, that I did not like it either.
Its not really about the taste, its about how it is going to help our body work better.
I have been buying, Twinnings fruit teas, & boy they are so beautiful to taste, & the aroma is amazing. Try adding a Herbal tea to the, Apple & Strawberry tea, that will work for sure. It will smell divine, too! 🙂
I hope my encouragement, & LOVE is helping you, PRECIOUS to sleep, maybe it is?....hey! XXOOO 🙂

Re: Happiness

Good morning @Former-Member
You are helping ❤ maybe its your strong will for me to sleep hey. Ive been sleeping quite alot lately eap since i burnt my hand it was like a reset button went off and now im always extrelemy tired and have been going to sleep around 10ish instead of 1 am if not later.
I dont like the sleep one at all it make me feel quite ill.
Maybe i can put some honey or something in the chamomile tea to make it sweeter. I generally drink tea with sugar and milk not sure if i can make chamomile tea like that though

@outlander
You can make the Herbal tea with anything you want. It's something that can be add to most edible foods & liquids. You can ever add it to cookies, & cakes, custard, where ever your creative skills take your fancy?
I can not drink Herbal teas, without sweetener of some kind.
It was your first experience, do not give up outlander, you are tougher than that, I believe in you! 😉
Valerian, is another sleep alternative, if you really do not want to pursue with Herbal Tea.
Please consider Passion Flower Tea, do not forget about that one, its the best out of all the Tea. It is very strong, & it is not like any other, believe me. If you can get some of that into you, you will never look back, believe me.
But, it does not taste nice, it tastes like drinking wheat grass, or one of those health drinks. I add other flavours to it, I add it to green tea, & add Manuka Honey to it. I add it to my oats, & fruit mixture I have as a meal. Remember I am Vegan, & I do not eat Animals.
So, back to your Chamomile Tea, yes add your milk & sugar, & maybe vanilla essence, that sounds nice, yes?
Look at this tea as gift to help you, not an enemy to make you feel sick. Most times the label we place on anything/anyone, will stay in our memory, then in time will become a unreal, reality, even if no body else see's, or agree, with us/you.
This is how stigma starts, as not every one is right, & not every one is wrong, its that we as humans are like sheep, usually. We follow the leader, or if we don't then we are sometimes, seen as strange, or bad! 😞
Anyway, you do what works for you! XXOO Luv U! 🙂

Re: Happiness

Thanks @Former-Member ill try it with added extras next time. I havent brought passionflower as yet but ill take a look at it.
Ill try it later on this arvo or tonight to give it some time to work. We can have a tea party then if u want?

Re: Happiness

Hi @Former-Member & @outlander

I just wanted to flag, that although valerian is a herb, it's worth chatting to a health professional about how it might interact with your lifestyle, what you want it to do (to make sure it's the right thing to assist you) and if it will impact any other medications. For example, one thing I read was not to take this is if you're scheduled for surgery. All worth checking out.
