I can relate a bit to that with your mum @Teej. Really great to hear you dealt with it well. It's a struggle to respond not react sometimes.

I think it will take some time to adjust again to just us at being at home, and to the things that have changed with our family. I'm looking forward to it being a little less full house-ish though.

Yeah I was thinking that too @CheerBear but I’m glad you will get time to breathe and deal with life while the kids are at school for a few more weeks. Christmas is steamrolling in. It feels like time is double speed.

December is so close that I cant complain about Christmas decorations being up in the shops anymore 😉 I'm stressing about it a bit and i'm not feeling very organised at the moment, though I am trying to keep it all in perspective too.

I’ve actually had lots of dreams about Christmas this year @CheerBear. Many are about not being able to afford presents for my family. I know it’s not about the money but I’ve never not managed before. This year is going to be hard for me emotionally feeling like I’ve failed them. I’ll get over it at some point. I have a black sheep issue to deal with too with one of mine :face_with_rolling_eyes:. It never ends.

I understand how that might make for some tough dreams @Teej. That sounds like a heart vs brain one - where you know it isn't about the money but it feels so disappointing 🙁

Going to write a post to Zoe and then maybe wind down @CheerBear (although I don’t know how much more I can wind down I haven’t wound up yet 😜🤦‍♀️). I’ve managed to keep food in my system today so hopefully tomorrow I’ll wind up again. I hope you have an ok night. 

Have to share this...that I just smirked as the ones arguing are making business like pitches to each other about where they want to go and why, with cost benefit analysis and outcomes of it. It’s quite amusing. They are going to China.

@CheerBear black sheep is one who drinks too much and wants everyone to join him. Not aggressive at all but going to be difficult this Christmas. if It was just me and his Bros it would be ok but not the extended family on Christmas Day. Oh well.
