Living with Ourselves

Re: Living with Ourselves

@Sophia1 By a river I think. Lapping sound of water, birds and earthy smells. Two weary travelers resting for a while. Hope you are going okish. 💕💜💛☀️☀️☀️🙃🙃🙃

Hello @Former-Member

How are you today?

Has your health improved?

I read that you had lunch with a cousin...that would have been a nice change...

Re: Living with Ourselves

Hello @Former-Member @Maggie @Adge

I think that I am assessing each day and working out from there rest or exercise?

I think that I bolted out of the stables after the surgery...then once home assumed that I had moved to earlier recovery..

After weaning off painkillers came to realisation ouch hurts....further complication internally set me way back...

I know that when I had two bulging discs in my back about 15 years ago...I improved to a certain stage then slowed down in improvement rate..eventually recovering..

I do know that psychological side has huge impact...so having mind struggles impedes to a certain degree..

I still believe that full recovery is achievable ..I am only 3 months into post operation....-2 year recovery...up to 3 years checkups..

So focussing on each day is far easier to deal with..

@Former-Member How is your pain these days?

@Adge antibiotics worked.

@Maggie Your hysicl pin levels?

mine sounds difficult...

yours have been chronic far longer..I realise this is why all three of you can be empathic..

you also get by on your own..

I feel for all of you..💚💜♥️💝🐾👣

Re: Living with Ourselves

Oh @Sophia1, we do have to pace ourselves. My pain is bevoming a blurr these days. The shoulder the worst atm but the Rt hip today 😞 most unusual - probably from lower back... Just gotta not focus on it and keep moving - gently. 😲

Re: Living with Ourselves

Physical pain & phys illness impacts on our MH @Sophia1

As you would be familiar with - it's extremely hard to have a positive mood, when you're in pain.

I can very much relate to your Ouch, I say that a lot (to myself), mainly from back pain.

@Former-Memberwould relate to that too, I think.
