@Appleblossom, i second what @Mazarita sais, you are not invisible, you are a wonderful person, and a valued member of the sane forum, and for me it would not be the same without you.
Take care

Today I am thankful for a number of things today. I suppose when it comes down to it, I am thankful for my boss.
After a tough few weeks I decided I was struggling and needed some time off. My boss happily allowed me to take the next two days off.
We had two pet rats at work. One died last week (old age) and the othhas been lonely. My friend has a few pet rats and was happy to add another to the menagerie.
My boss has allowed me to take the rat home. Also, as part of my job I am not allowed to have pet rodents, or contact with them. I'm allowed to have her overnight, which is a big deal for me.
I am so happy to have this chance. She's currently curled up asleep on my shoulder. It makes me feel so loved to have her so comfortable with me she is content to sleep on me.

Heya @Crazy_Bug_Lady,
Your fur friend is beautiful! That's so great to hear that you got some time off, and even better to hear that you've been able to find her a new home, and have a night with her too.

Great to hear about your good boss, @Crazy_Bug_Lady, and that you will be getting a bit more time out. I have a longtime online friend who loves rats. So cool that you can be the lonely one's overnight carer and give each other some joy. 🙂
Today I am grateful for online friends, old and new, and the companionship and special understanding we can sometimes give each other.

Thanks guys.
I am crying happy tears at the moment. I haven't had a pet that I can cuddle since I moved out 6 years ago. That's 6 years of living alone.
She also just stuck her face in my chocolate milk and ran up and stuck her wet nose in my ear.
Is this what having a pet is like??
It's awesome!!!

Thanks for posting the pic @Crazy_Bug_Lady gorgeous arent they.
We had pet rats, I remember one was called Voltaire when I was 19-20 ... my house sharers (uncle by marriage and his brother) got them from labs so they were very clean.
Glad that you have a bit of understanding from the boss and time off.
