Haha thank you @Former-Member Phoenix has given me insight into her reasons for rules, but I'm totally anti-authoritarian so that's going to be tricky. I respect though, why she needs them, she explained it clearly. So going to have to think about that that.
I also need @CheerBear to explain a bit about her idea of the actual meeting place and what she has "found" and how she envisages setting it up, where it is etc. Because that's way outside by thought processes. Hell Id be happy us sitting or laying around discussing it on the beach. Obviously she has far more elaborate ideas on that one!
The fire is another one. I know how to get it started easily, but need that spark. Maybe we'll find a bottle or something onr better still a trusty zippo lighter that still miraculously works, or some flares in the wreckage. I'm thinking flint or something but not sure ... if we had volcanic black sand that would be ok cos that gets super hot, I know that through experience. Ho hum... so many things to think about for this little INTP, 🙂
Did you like the idea of you doing the crafts for us? We need the baskets to collect fruit and store it in the cave. Just have to find a way to make sure we protect them from any bats that might be around 😄 And that's just the start of their uses. 🙂

the sand isnt ash black though on the beach so we will have to work something else out, i think your right about the matches- i dont think they would work even if they are wet
yes i quite like the crafts idea
another way to light a fire is one- the magnifying glass trick? the hand drill type of trick?
any of those do you think would work?
do you know these types? @Spookytookims

Yep I do, but I (being an INTP) @Former-Member have to work them in logically. Hence finding a bottle, using the broken base as a magnifying glass effect to focus the sun... we can't just pull a magnifying glass miraculously out of our pockets... oh hang on... lol maybe we can.... according to @CheerBear Lol! So @CheerBear Do you have said item in said miraculous pocket finder? 😛 or maybe a zippo lighter perhaps?

you said you found a sharp tool in your backpack so what about the hand drill? @Spookytookims
anything in the ship wreck we can use?

Im liking the hand drill trick idea though... we need a stick and flinty rock or just a plain one? What do we need for it @Former-Member ?

@Former-Member Havent found my backpack yet...but in the interim we might be able to anything metal we found on the beach, the kindling nest is easy.. dry banana leaves go wooosh... so I think rationally the stick on a piece of wood we leave in the sun for extra heat will get it started. With shredded banana leaf and some dried coconut husks in the kindling. So there ya go. We have you and me figuing it out in the story... too cook our fish :).
but next installment is more rules and @CheerBear's meeting place, so our fire will have to be for episode 4 🙂
