Re: Adventures on Turtle Island

@CheerBear  that's why I had that INTP signature... because anyone who knows anything about INTP would know then to expect some "weird" stuff in my posts because that's just who we are..   we don't fit in.

My sig was kind an alert. It meant something to me.

Re: Adventures on Turtle Island

@Phoenix_Rising  I'm working on it.. but I have to post this in here.....

Re: Adventures on Turtle Island

Now I'm in such a muddle with neuroplasticity and neurofeedback that I've just realised that ehole grammatical post thingy i wrote neurofeedback when i meant neuroplasticity. My brain can't keep up with any of this @Spookytookims and @Phoenix_Rising. I'm just going to sit here for a few minutes with my palms up, try not to freak that I'm still, and let "magic" happen 😉

Re: Adventures on Turtle Island

Original N64 Mario Kart @CheerBear? You're on 😉 Let me just blow in my cartridge.

@Spookytookims hmmm I don't recognise anything pokemony about the island, although I never kept up with any of the games or anime past Gen 1 so it could just be outside of my pokemon experience sorry. But the island looks awesome 🙂 I was amused to see that everyone else wanted to urgently evacuate via koopa troopa 😛 Like Bowser took over Yoshi Island or something 😛

@CheerBear ROFL Smiley LOLSmiley LOLSmiley LOL

BTW, I LOVE the story about your muddled phone number. My home number is one digit different to a local school. A few times, I've answered my phone and had some parent launch into a full-on monologue about their kid. It is soooooooooo funny when they finally pause for breath and I explain they have the wrong number. Smiley LOL

Like you, I wonder how the poor person is coping with all the people calling him/her and asking for you.

Re: Adventures on Turtle Island

Haha @TheVorticon! I'm thinking original as in SNES but that's waaaaay old school 😉 We could go MK8 - that was fun, N64 will definitely do though. It's not Pokemon unless it's latest gen either as far as I can tell, and that ship looks very Bowser to me. Either way, I too think it's very cool to see some gaming action happening on TI which just makes great even greater to me!

Re: Adventures on Turtle Island

Oh wow, SNES predates my gaming experience @CheerBear 😉 I've only tried the N64 and Wii versions of Mario Kart. I'm a bit worried TI/Bowser's Island won't have electricity, gaming consoles, or a TV. This has honestly been my worry from the start, and was why I was so keen on a rescue operation. But if I've got a power source for a flying pirate ship then clearly my worries were unfounded.
