Hi @Former-Member
Great to see you today - it's a fine thing to do some gardening - and it's easy to over-do things
And we only have to be here when it's okay for us - so I am glad you have had other things to do and now you are resting with your cat - something I totally do a lot of with my companion cat
It's bit of a worry with your guinea pig having disfunctional behaviour with his brother - I don't know that much about guinea pigs except they tend to breed often - I wish him the best - poor little guy having surgery so young
So it's Thursday today and tomorrow really is Friday

Hi @Former-Member
So many days in bed - aw - that must mean things were really tough - drinking water is good and some dark chocolate is fine - I think 6 little squares. I understand though - 6 little squares is hardly enough
My cat is 13 going on 14 - she doesn't look that old either but she used to dash outside the backdoor whenever I wasn't noticing her - and she would jump up a high gate and onto the car-port roof - like me - she's past it - not that I was into jumping high gates and climbing onto the car-port roof - but we are both aging as gently as possible without aggravating our arthritis - we both have arthritis
Tough work for the guinea pig - what was wrong with him that he had to have an operation - hey - I know it costs a packet just for the GA - let's hope is he a tough little beggar and gets over it
I wa taking my cat into the vet for weigh-ins for over a year because of unexplained weight-loss - she had tests and they though she might be really ill but over this winter she has put on a lot of weight - she is still small but really - she seems to weigh a ton when she sits on me in bed - How I wish she didn't do that!!!!
Today we have had fog in Melboure and it is freezing cold - I have been organising my trip to Sydney - just waiting for my agent to ring me back so I can pay my fare over the phone - to cold to go out today when I otherwise don't have to. It took ages to heat my unit too.

Hi @Former-Member & @Former-Member I dont think we have "met" before. Its a good forum.
Today I had an doc appointment and a zoo encounter.
I have personally related to all sorts of animal behaviour understandings. In that I kind of know it is "normal" if a reaction I have had during my life is similar to an animal. How much of a nutter am I? There was all this natural mother stuff from my mother but unnatural neglect and expectations on me.
We fed the giraffes browse, carrots and celery. They dont like snow peas and are on a sugar free diet this year, so not allowed fruit anymore ... like all us peeps.
