Thank you @Former-Member  🙂  I wish I could say it was my own creation, it is kind of the type of thing I'd come up with, but no it isn't I swiped it off google.  I too think it is really creative and kudos to the person who made it. It's very creative and clever.

If you want to send a message to a particular person type an @ in front of their name, they then are "tagged" and will get an email advising them of your post.  Some people uncheck advice from threads because they get too many email notifications so they won't always see it unless you specifically tag them. I don't, I pretty much have all the threads I "subscribe" to active.

Anyhow.. welcome again and anything at all I can help with or try to help with feel free to tag me anytime. 🙂  wonderful to have you here.

Firstly - welcome to the forum @Former-Member 

If you @mention someone in a post they will receive a notification from that thread even if they have unsubscribed from that thread. They will not receive notifications for posts where you are not @mentioned. 

If you have any other questions about 'tagging', notifications, posting etc. then I am happy to answer them for you, and you can read the Community Guidelines to find out more as well.

I saw this go around a while ago and *may* have tried it with my cat when I was sad one night to make snuggles with the fluffball even more nice. Now everytime my cats lie with me I can't help but imagine little teddies on their paws 🙂
