Re: Icebreakers time!

Mine would definitely have to be Tweety Bird! He’s just so cute!! @Ru-bee

Re: Icebreakers time!

@AlwaysMyself I’m ok, thnx. Sarcasm is my natural language, it’s often hard to portray online. I’m holding on, knuckles white, legs spasm & lock, jaw full tilt backwards with maniacal laughter spilling from my gob, all while the monkeys dance & sprinkle shenanigans about. But I’m ok!

How is your day?

Oh my gosh

My first thought was Matilda, but she's not cartoon

Next thought was Madeline for her playfulness, mischief and curiosity

The one I most resonate with is Belle from beauty and the beast because she sees beyond what people look like and sees their heart, like how she snubs Gaston and protects the beast. She likes books and is pleasant to everyone, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

Then there's twilight sparkle from My Little Pony

And Tweak from Octonauts

And Tinkerbell

But Ariel will always have a place in my heart because of my mum

Then of course there's Kanga from Winnie the Pooh

Ok that's enough

Though I could continue

@Ru-bee I'm not sure if they count as a cartoon character, but my favourite planeswalker is Niko Aris. Niko was the first non-binary character to become a planeswalker in magic the gathering.

From the fandom wiki:

Niko believes strongly in free will and takes pride in acts of defiance against fate, such as the one that ignited their spark. On the other hand, they were also angry and bitter about losing their spark again. Niko left their home Plane because they didn’t want their destiny dictated to them by the gods. They are very much about choosing their destiny and not being forced into something they didn’t agree to. Their spark was what let them leave. Having it effectively stolen without their consent isn’t sitting well with them — and neither is the fact that when Theros was in danger, they weren’t there

Re: Icebreakers time!

@AlwaysMyself I am definitely grateful for my Tomaatti @Glisten.

Once bro cleared the gulleys the rain in my room stopped thank goodness. I still can't believe he was scraping ice off the roof.

I've had good sleep the past 24 hours. Caught up from the past several days of non sleep so despite the cold I am happy. I am getting bro to move my lemon tree tomorrow so that it doesn't get as much water. And a trip to Funnings (woohoo!) on the weekend to get some fruit specific fertiliser, not just seasol.

My other plants are doing well, I have decided when my house grows up not only will I have a first floor, I will also have a sun room where I can put all of my tropical plants.

@AlwaysMyself it is inevitable. You are getting a plant. Any particular plant you prefer over others? So far I have a strelitzia (bird of paradise), flame kangaroo paw, purple wedding carnation and thyme.
I am open to all possibilities.

There are other Sane fam members that will be getting plants also, they just don't know it yet! 🫂

Re: Icebreakers time!

So glad the rain is no longer coming into your room @ENKELI , and glad for a well needed rest.

I love the idea of your "house grows up" 😆 like as it gets older it will also expand taller with more floors. I love it.

Plants eh. Well, Im not sure why but im partial to deep crimson lily (lillium). I had some that flower leading up to christmas. They looked like this:

But really any "true lily" (lilium; eg Asiatic lily) I enjoy too. And Gerbera have a special place for me also due to my 12yo plant with pink flowers.

What is @Glisten plant?

Re: Icebreakers time!

Awesome ice breaker....and honestly, at the perfect time too. Thank you!

My favourite cartoon character has to be Flounder from The Little Mermaid. There’s just something about him that feels so real and comforting. He’s loyal and caring, always there for Ariel, even when he’s scared out of his fins. Like when she gets into trouble or wants to explore the dangerous parts of the ocean, he worries but still goes along with her. That mix of being nervous but brave when it counts is so relatable. He’s also really cheerful and playful, and even in scary situations, he tries to keep the mood light. He’s honest, kind, and just an all-around good friend. Thinking about Flounder reminds me that being loyal, compassionate, and bravez, even when you’re afraid, is what makes someone truly positive. Honestly, he’s just a little fish, but he’s a big heart, and I love him for that 🐠♥️

Re: Icebreakers time!

@AlwaysMyself I love lilies too and have been wanting to get a couple. I have 2 spathiphyllum - peace lilies - and I have been wanting to get a couple of liliums so that's a win win situation!

I'll see what Funnings have available as well as the nursery near where mum lives.

@Glisten has a kangaroo paw - bush ballad species. It is flowering quite well at the moment too.

Re: Icebreakers time!

I love this one!! @Ru-bee

I would have to pick Anastasia because she is an absolute baddass, independent queen 😍

(Also she got to snog Dimitri and he was a babe)
