@PeppyPatti for self care I'm pretending everything is fine, you know, fake it till you make it. I realise I'm doing all I can, all that life is letting me do, unfortunately 90% of the problems around me are out of my control. It's like being on a roller coaster ride that's on fire, except instead of looking at the flames and the scary stuff I'm either distracting myself with the phone or focusing on the pretty scenery as it flies past. Oh how could I forget using humour to mask the truth and trying to keep busy so my brain can't jump in with negative stuff.
Just another day in the office really.
I feel I should reassure readers that the pandora's box does get opened during weekly clinical psych sessions / aka a safe environment, just in case anyone was worried about a massive sadness explosion of so many repressed memories and emotions.
