Night Shift

Re: Night Shift

Sorry you felt like that. @TAB

I know its tough atm and not much work.

Paranoia is not fun.

I know there is lot of c**p out in the real world. I saw it sooner than most, but for some weird reason I remain frustratingly non cynical. I try not to contribute to the pile of poo ... or turn it into fertiliser ...

Re: Night Shift

I wish re fertiliser just am out of sorts @Appleblossom and thanks. I do like you even though we get up each other's nose 😘

Re: Night Shift

@TABMy early posts on the forum were much more upset, defensive and angry.  Not many people could relate to my experiences, so it was a very slow journey to gradually feel a bit understood.  I still believe that what I wrote was relevant to the Sane forum values and Mental health activism, and was more part of my experience than what I wanted. I was pretty thorny and maybe hard to like.

No Roses for Michael ...

The older girls in the orphanage were so respectful of this movie, but I was probably a bit young to see it at 7 ... just the way it was ...

Re: Night Shift

I can't see pic and didn't realise re orphanage. Not too many happy tales come from that background but you seem to be doing alright @Appleblossom was that a movie re roses etc? I'm going for a while maybe not long but a while. Just need space. Been tripping over self on here. Thanks for your replies

Re: Night Shift

@TABHad stuff to do at home

I thought you would get the reference. It is from 1970 ... an authoritative reference on the rising problem of drugs.  Just a weird memory for me that influenced. I am not  Where I get some of my trust broader social groupings.  I remember watching the moon landing too, often did not have a television. The truth is that I over idealised it all, because to see it any other way would have crushed me totally.

Take care

Re: Night Shift

I didn't get it @Appleblossom was going to look it up. Yes I saw moon landing on tv. Got a lift home from school with headmaster else would have been stranded then 15 minute drive do fathers bosses place to watch extremely blurry images on tv.
Yes the distant past can seem better over time. You take care too

Re: Night Shift

Sorry last post did not quite make sense.  Interrupted by my son to finish video.
