Hi @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Former-Member, @Bimby2, @Former-Member, @Former-Member and all, hope the day goes well for everyone. ![]()
@Former-Member, boo to the pain behind the shoulder. Yay that your head and thoughts feel much better.
Interesting thought about the pain. Reminds me of a Divinyls song. But I've heard that some physical pain can also release endorphins, which relate to pleasure. Maybe that's part of the reason exercise is supposed to be good for us. ![]()

It's a fine line @Mazarita ๐ I think maybe your right, and of all the ways to do that - mowing the lawn is a very practical way to do so ๐ Thank you for your kind thoughts - so your massage must have made your head feel really good then? (I'm joking)

@Former-Member, the best of both worlds with the lawn getting done and the exercise. But still, I say boo to the pain behind the shoulder.
Lol to the headspace after the massage, was angry actually! And yet... there are parts of my body (not the bruised bits) that feel freer in movement than they did before the massage. So I guess there was some benefit even with that. ![]()

@Mazarita I say boo to the pain to . . . booger off! lol. I prefer the anger to the fear, it feels stronger - like an inner strength is returning. So, rage away girl ๐ I find once I get enough of the anger out, 'normal' can seep back in ![]()

@Former-Member, I get that about anger feeling stronger. Until it goes too far for me and then I get all tangled up in it, turn it in on myself and/or just rage mindlessly, making me weaker and more vulnerable to everything. Fortunately I haven't been in that place for quite some time. But, yeah, in little bursts, it works out okay for me to release a bit of anger these days. ![]()
Edit: just realised the time. Gotta get myself in the shower and get ready for the gym today. Good chatting with you, @Former-Member. Take it easy with that shoulder today. ![]()

@Mazarita I hear you, drinking & other things used to fuel my anger and I couldn't get past it. . . I always came out second best. I'm a bit like you, that it hasn't been that way for a while - I stopped fueling up!
Take care of those bruises at the gym! I have every intention of releasing more of those endorphines this afternoon - it'll give me even more to whinge about ๐
