Okies I have looked up the two Items referenced by @NotLabelDefined
A Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE)
“is one that takes into account the psychological makeup the thinking, emotions, personalities and past experience of its participants in the way that it operates.”
I guess last night’s CherryBomb CBT/Mindful Session could qualify as one @NotLabelDefined ?
“Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) involves repeated sampling of subjects’ current behaviors and experiences in real time, in subjects’ natural environments. EMA aims to minimize recall bias, maximize ecological validity, and allow study of microprocesses that influence behavior in real-world contexts. EMA studies assess particular events in subjects’ lives or assess subjects at periodic intervals,”
Yes, that does seem to be what Gilgamesh is doing of his own volition.

I'm not very clever, but that sounds like it's describing this Forum.

Hi @Former-Member and @Gilgamesh,
Yes, nice one Tookyspookims...can I add that the EMA approach can also be beneficial as it gives you opportunity to continually reflect on your thoughts and behaviours and how they relate to/change in different contexts... and the PIE thing is also about respecting the input and different approaches of individuals and encouraging individuals to take self-directed action...designing their recovery environment to enable recovery with a strong focus enhancing individual capacity for sustainable self-management driven by reflection, emotional support and empathy, and self-evaluation of progress and outcomes 🙂

@NotLabelDefined That would make them seem like more embracing approach rather than a closed defined form of therapies, which confirms the definitions I found.. Hopefully this is the way the "industry" is heading rather than the historically more closed and narrow approaches. I think that would make sense, with the techology of scans etc now available to those researching at the cutting edge of brain activity and regularity investigation.
It's scary to some people who are slow to embrace the new ideas coming through, but I think very exciting to those of us who recognise the shifts as very positive. Hopefully some kind of new paradigm will come out of it all.
