@TAB Farm live can be tough. I grew up in the city by the wild ocean where people toil from far. I saw people suffer for their livelihood and bread. I waited for the sun to rise so that I can grow up and leave my father’s grip. Then when I did, time ran away and I had to chase the roads to find a job. So then I kept hearing the music from far in the wind believing it was telling the truth about life. Only it just got me through the most difficult part of my years. The reality is in the silence without music. So I get down to work and hope at sunset I can hear the sounds of the wind again.

Fantastic that you have survived and can put it into your art.

@saturnzoon   Glad you have a roof over your head.  Still a lot of work to do, but the worst is behind you. 

I have left boxes unopened for 6 months if they were not necessary.

I have colourful socks, but only with 2 colours on each (eg orange & grey).

Your memory reminded me of something I experienced @Meowmy
When I was overseas. In NYC by the giant Christmas tree in the Rockefellar centre.
It was cold and lightly drizzling. Families were skating on the ice rink below, parents holding their kids hands between them. Couples in arms, embracing one another and taking photos. The elderly slowly walking on by. And in the air there was a sense of community, a sense of togetherness. A sense that despite all the pain in the world, there is a small glimmer of hope and tranquillity for us to share in. Small moments like that can break me. I was overcome with a sense that all would be well from that moment on even if I knew it wouldn't be.
As I was looking around, the young, the old, the middle aged were out and living.
Life is beautiful yet can be equally tragic I realised. The beauty we see is only ever weakened by our reluctance to see it.
