I don't see my psychiatrist again until September and unfortunately, he's the one who does the prescribing of my medications. My GP won't touch them as she feels I'm too complex.

I've taken my night medications. I don't take sleepers per se, they are just antipsychotics which cause tiredness as a side effect. I am waiting for them to kick in. Hopefully, it will be soon.

@Queenie That sucks in my state if you call the crisis team they can sometimes give you some prn to help but i guess that is an option if things get really bad.

Warm milk and honey may help. My son distracts himself with online games, and listens to music thru headphones. Suggest moving the psych appointment forward, ring Monday and tell them it's urgent (which it is). Hope you get a good night's sleep.
