Something’s not right

Another night of voice hearing. It's really wearing me down.

Re: Another night of voice hearing. It's really wearing me down.

@Queenie,
I sometimes do the naughty and take a 2nd dose of my sleepers and just go to bed. I'm not suggesting it as the best coping mechanism, but it can be a life saver if you need it.
Can you ask your psych for some prn to be prescribed for you? Can you see your gp on Monday and ask for some?
I wish I could help in someway, I'm sorry you're having a tough night.

I don't see my psychiatrist again until September and unfortunately, he's the one who does the prescribing of my medications. My GP won't touch them as she feels I'm too complex.

I've taken my night medications. I don't take sleepers per se, they are just antipsychotics which cause tiredness as a side effect. I am waiting for them to kick in. Hopefully, it will be soon.

@Queenie That sucks in my state if you call the crisis team they can sometimes give you some prn to help but i guess that is an option if things get really bad.

My sleepers/antip's are the same thing. Cup of warm milk and a hot water bottle?
I find sleep can be the best coping mechanism when it get's bad.
Wishing you a restful night's sleep.

Warm milk and honey may help. My son distracts himself with online games, and listens to music thru headphones. Suggest moving the psych appointment forward, ring Monday and tell them it's urgent (which it is). Hope you get a good night's sleep.
