Sounds like a great plan @Former-Member. I hope it’s a fun day for all of you .....
The appointment is one where I feel listened to, and supported, but it’s awkward and messy in the retelling because our situation was already complicated before S2 buckled and a mh team came on board for him, still without any sort of dx actualised over mr.f&h ...... and the story I have been trying to tell in that arena appears to be so unbelievable, with mr.f&h denying it al, at his charming best, that I am feeling invalidated ..... even though the scrutiny and being accountable to someone appears to have toned down all the dv level emotional abuse.
Even that scrambled state of affairs has me feeling emotionally bruised, as though 8 want to feel grateful for the progress, but I am still reeling at the cost to my self-esteem .....
And I am not holding my breath for any sort of apology when my “imagined” story surfaces as true, as it will, as mr.f&h’s illness progresses.
I have already had people starting to ask whether he has Anorexia ..... doing a double-take when they see him because he is becoming unrecognisable at their first glance ..... an d he is being mistaken for much older than me when we are the same age.
So yeah, I am being heard and believed by someone who can’t make a difference to my situation .... which is both comforting and sucky ..... !!
