Re: Trouble !

not sure where to put this and will seem pathetic anyway, havent had a washing machine for months, the company i bought it from couldnt help but got in touch via email with the manufacturers who offered a replacement machine as the whole line was recalled... but the replacement wasnt available until christmas. heard nothing so tried emailing first week of jan. so i did something i never do and made a phone call to the maker... got told that the exchange was still happening etc would be soon. now have a missed call and message from a freight perso to say that they've tried to pick up the busted machine from a town 100kms away where i used to live. i went back and checked the emails and they definitely have my new address 😞 its just all too hard.

Re: Trouble !

Oh @Former-Member 😢. I’m so sorry that has happened. It sucks when something that should be simple turns into something complicated and stressful. Hoping when you have had some space you can email them and they’ll sort it quickly. It’s a long time with kids to be without a machine, especially when they are on holidays.

Sending hugs 🤗💜

Re: Trouble !

Break it down into baby steps @Former-Member ....... they owe you a machine, and it’s one of the biggest workhorses in a family household.

Email the company again, and write out the message the freight person left, telling them there was a miscommunication at their end as you have previously emailed them your new address, and can re-send that email to confirm if they need you to.

You can do this @Former-Member ...... it’s polite but factual, and lands the ball back in their court, not yours.

Re: Trouble !

Yeah ..... forgot to say how much that sucks @Former-Member .......

Re: Trouble !

im really tired of persisting and existing with everyday stuff feeling like nightmare stuff that is too hard for me! not even sure why i am so low at the moment or finding life so hard.

Re: Trouble !

I feel like that at times @Former-Member ...... I have so much out of place in my home at the moment that I would have grazed at putting away progressively previously, but since we came under the therapy team, mr.f&h became less controlling and aggressive by degrees, I became further invalidated and it was clear this is not our solution, I have become somewhat frozen ...... doing things on a need-to basis only and ignoring the rest.

I think it qualifies as situational depression, and for you too ...... just feels leaden and all too hard. I hear you.

My commitment to myself is meeting the baseline of health and hygiene. Beyond that, everything else can wait until I feel better ...... and if anyone else wants to raise their hand to putting things back into place, they have my belssing to do so. Not seeing anyone else fall over themselves to do it either ......

Re: Trouble !

I'm glad that you are looking after you in that way @Faith-and-Hope and also hope that there are some other adult hands in your household helping to keep things running as it shouldn't be all on you anyway... i hope we can both unfreeze sometime.
