@Faith-and-Hope - you have a very good point there! It amazes me that as it rained tonight, we were told that the roads are wet and slippery and keep a safe distance from car in front!
@Appleblossom - alot of people think I keep myself too busy. But in a way I can't sit still sometimes as if I do I know I will struggle. I guess keeping busy is my self care. Saying that though, definitely know that it will cause physical burn out so when i do I will tone it down. Normally on the weekends. This weekend is going to be busy. Need go for a mani & pedi Friday and then pick my partner from the airport. Let's hope he checked his flight and not made the mistake of booking a flight for the Saturday as that is my work ball! (he got his AM & PM mixed up last week!) Then Saturday is work ball then Sunday is spending time with him. I say we probably be lazing in front of TV or possibly catching up on sleep haha.
Nice pic though! Not a red wine person but definitely a wine person nonetheless...if that makes sense.
How is everyone's night's going?

Today I am going to create something arty. Well attempt to. It's going to be inspired by @Faith-and-Hope 's "history of art". I may get frustrated and bin it, but it might be cathartic to try, nonetheless. This probably should go in goals for the day, but it's not really for the day cos will likely take longer than that to stick it together. Plus the idea is really born from you lot, things a lot of you have said, subconsciously brewing in my head,. And out of the bubbling cauldron this idea has percolated.
sooo hello macbook air... let's see what you, me and Mr Google can come up with for my next stage to understanding and sorting my cr@pola. 😄
that's me for the day, now what are each of you up to and how are you all doing?
Tooky 🙂

@Anony18 I hear you re the red wine. I was same until very recently. A friend brought me a thank you gift, it was a jacob's Creek Red, I can't remember what... damn PTSD memory sux let me tell you... but anyhow... it was the first red I actually enjoyed. Suprised me because not usually much of a fan of JC wines, and definitely not reds. So when @Appleblossom 's glass of red I have the memory to that bottle and, voila I want one.
🙂
Sorry too many porcupine hair postings in here the last few pages. Don't mean to be dominating the post space. Just kind of exciting time for me at the moment so guess it's reflecting in my prolific posting.
 Sorry.

Hi all!
@Former-Member my main day to day arty outlet at the moment is creative mending. It's something I can pick up and put down easily because it's done by hand, it can come in the car with me, I can sit out in the garden keeping the pet rabbits, guineapig and friendly but not quite tame local magpies company while I stitch and darn. It's nice seeing something damaged come back together looking even better than it started... oooh, is that a bit metaphorical or what!!
Also on the wishlist is making apple and elderberry jelly if the birds haven't beaten me to all the elderberries, and maybe putting some snowpea seeds into the garden if I can work out how to keep the wallabies from enjoying them. (Yes, we share our backyard with a lot of animals.)
Need to do list includes some paperwork on behalf of my parents. Nothing big or complicated, but I baulk at paperwork. And we've got a Yr 7 BBQ happening at daughter's school this evening, which should be enjoyable.
