Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Still waiting to see them @Former-Member

Will be in the paper Saturday should be online tomorrow. Agent was please with them though. Was most impressed with our efforts in cleaning.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Very funny @Determined. 😄 Being a no-TV household, I hadn't seen that before...

Makes me think of a Hagar the Horrible cartoon, which sadly I can't find online.

Conversation between Hagar and Lucky Eddie, as they stand at the foot of Hadrian's Wall

Lucky Eddie (pointing): "It was built to keep the barbarians out."

Hagar: "What a fantastic idea! Who built it?"

Lucky Eddie: "I dunno- the people on the other side..."

(This exchange of running jokes has potential to go on indefinitely. Mheehee.)

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Yep, that's a good one @Former-Member

Tax Deductible too...

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Thanks @Former-Member Yes, the tax appointment was an allowable deduction (expense).

So, not too taxing - at least when the refund arrives...

Evening all.

It has been a long day here. Quick fly by before heading to bed.

Was up until 12 last night doing paperwork and up early this morning getting ready for some sold equipment to be picked up. Should sleep well tonight.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

@Former-Member I'd luv a coffee. Just waiting for plumber to turn on water.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Hi @Appleblossom

Hope plumbing issue easily fixed and not a drain on wallet.

Re: Hot Chocolate Anyone ?

Sounds nice. I should put the kettle on. It's a bit cold and blustery here, so the fire would be a good idea too.

We had really cold breezes around our necks this morning. One of the small panes in our window had fallen out overnight. Thankfully unbroken, so it was a fairly simple job resetting it.
