A long rave

Re: A long rave

Hope you can talk okay with your psychologist @eth and your throat is okay. It is annoying that this cold is hanging around but you are doing everything possible to take care of yourself - hopefully that helps to get rid of it sooner rather than later.

@Adge Taking the antibiotics will hopefully help but if it gets worse go straight to A&E - you have not had a good time with this operation buddy - fingers crossed for you that this infection goes away quickly and it can begin to heal.

Re: A long rave

@eth  I haven't done my qi gong or tai chi for awhile I was getting bored and now since I have a walking partner it has livened up walking for me more PLUS the cooler weather makes such a difference.  I want to run again 🙂 that is my aim.

I am sorry that  you are still feeling poorly. I hope you improve soon eth. Love peaxxx

@Adge  I am so happy that you are on antibiotics at long last . Doctor pea would have prescribed that from the outset for you stupid nurses .... thank god for the locum. Take good care of yourself my friend. xxxx

Re: A long rave

@Bunniekins Hope that morning walk was wonderful.  Have you read the book the 5 am club?

Smiley Happy

@eth Bugs can be pernickety things.

Smiley Happy

@Adge Rest and hope the body and antibiotics do their thing.  I really hope it is enough.  Maybe due to the complexity of your previous operations made it hard for them to tell.  Getting self to emergency is not fun.  Keep in touch and let us know how you are.

@Appleblossom  Hi Appleblossom no I haven't I will google it :).

Re: A long rave

A lady was raving about it last night.

Smiley Very Happy

Sorry I am not sure I can get as enthusiastic about mornings!

Smiley Tongue

I appreciate others do.

Re: A long rave

@Appleblossom  it sounds interesting a bit too cerebral for lil pea's mind atm though. Something I could buy for my ex for his 60th he is another morning person and then I could borrow it when he has finished it 🙂

Problems with getting up so early is that I am hyper for the rest of the day. I feel a bit manic atm and could go for another walk so am listening to soothing music and trying to calm down lol.

Re: A long rave

Ha ha

@Bunniekins

Not sure if I will read it either ... mebe ... who knows ...

I hear you about managing flooding emotions and energy.  I am lowering my antidepressants as I think they were agitating me more than helping.

Remember that emotions are just energy in motion ....

Dont worry about Einstein and all that ...

I rapidly identified with being schizoaffective when I first read about it when I was in my 20s.

Nobody else would agree at first ...

They were just being nice to my face.

You gotta lot onya plate lil pea. Looking after you looks after the tribe.

@Appleblossom  Thanks Appleblossom 🙂 xxx

Re: A long rave

I hope your day was good @Bunniekins @Appleblossom @eth @Zoe7

Thanks heaps for your kind encouragement, along the way.

Having such low energy is really getting me down.

I'm having to have frequent rests, every day - apparently that's normal after major surgery (I'm told).

Couldn't I be abnormal, & have loads of energy for a change?

Sleep Apnea means I struggle with daily fatigue anyway - adding surgery recovery isn't a great mix.

Oh & CPTSD (won't talk about that one) - according to psych that is a major cause of fatigue as well.

I just want to go out for a day trip somewhere, or skip the country & go to some exotic location.

I'm just not up to it.

I'm having trouble doing shopping trips, & have to wait till I feel up to that - so no sight-seeing tours so far....

Re: A long rave

It does sound like you are getting quite frustrated having to rest so much but you have had major surgery @Adge and it takes time to heal. I know the infection hasn't helped either - just makes it a little longer before you can do anything. It sucks buddy but think about how you will finally be able to bend when you have recovered.
