Fragile

Re: Fragile

I am terrified my son will suffer with shakey hands ... no good for piano.  It ties my insides in knots.

Re: Fragile

@Bunniekins that is super understandable, no pressure for you to do anything, especially if it would make you feel worse. I'm sorry to hear that it feels like you're being singled out, that would be really painful. We have quite a big bunch of moderators, and I guess all of us work in slightly different ways so we're always trying to work out the kinks too. I imagine it can be super stressful if you post something one day and it's fine and post a similar thing another day and it gets taken down.

I hope it's okay that I am sending you some big virtual hugs, because I really hate to hear how difficult it is for you right now! I've always known you to be a very sweet and kind-hearted person and you deserve to feel sweetness and kindness returned to you HeartHeart

Re: Fragile

Totally agree that music is good for the soul @Appleblossom !! So awful when you aren't allowed to listen to it, because music is an incredibly important part of emotional expression - I love to dance my own self, it's actually one of my most important self-care strategies.

If I need to motivate myself to get up and have a little dance, this tune ALWAYS gets me going:

Re: Fragile

Its more essential and primal than simply being able to listen to music, @Jynx or even dance to it. Some Clinical approaches are so wrapped up in themselves, THEY fail to see the wood for the trees.  There needs to be more whole body immersion in general music, its more than jnust the soul, or pesky lyrics.

Anyway definitely my old stamping grounds

This movie is 30 years old but I just loved seeing familiar places.

Re: Fragile

Absolutely agree - music has evolved alongside us, it is part of us. It transcends both language and culture, and I think it connects to the deepest parts of us. Primal is the perfect word for it.

I'll have to check that film out it looks wild! Smiley Very Happy
