Fragile

Re: Fragile

"Speak only to improve the silence." @StanD

"Feelings are only visitors." @tyme

Some things are worth repeating.

Thanks

Re: Fragile

I like that @Appleblossom .

So true. "Feelings are only visitors". You can also choose whether you let the visitors stay or not 🙂

Re: Fragile

Only sometimes @tyme in my experience.  Dissociation and cognitive dissonance can be a consequence of not being true to feelings.

Sometimes it is not possible to make 'a little choice' ... at least neuroscience has intervened in the field of moral blame around thoughts and feelings.

I did feel a little suicidal today. I did not move closer to it.

Hope you are doing alright.

Re: Fragile

I'm sorry to hear that you felt a little suicidal today @Appleblossom .

Is there anything you'd like to talk about?

Re: Fragile

Thanks for you response @tyme it means a lot to me.

Feeling very weary of life and accepting other people's terms.

I mainly post out here on Fragile thread when feeling that way.

I have been so careful about my personal expression, almost to the point of being euphemistic. Learning and fumbling with putting up some boundaries and expectations of my own.

The situation with my family seems very locked in a sad place. @EternalFlower Nothing I do seems to help.

Have to face that wearing rose coloured glasses can also be like being an ostrich with head in the sand.
