Coming to terms with reality

Re: Coming to terms with reality

".....What are a few of your favorite quotes from the Quran? @Adek..."

@eudemonism..
"Did We not expand for you your breast?
And We removed from you your burden
Which had weighed upon your back.
And raised high for you your repute.
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
And to your Lord direct [your] longing..."

94:1-8

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Well, another blessed morning has begun. And it's very much like the many other mornings i been through. It should turn out to bea good day from what i can tell from here.

Thanks for replying @Adek it's interesting to hear about your point of view and your faith and stuff from the Quran. I'd likea copy of the book so i could learn what it's all about. I figure that is where this writing comes from. ? A small copy was at the local library awhile ago but I only got to flick through a few verses before i put it back down.

And @Former-Member i suppose no news is good news and you're just getting on with the day to day stuff?

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Peace be with you @Former-Member @eudemonism. You can always download the app online from the Playstore @eudemonism. There are multilingual copies online that u can choose from. I also have 3 copies downloaded in my phone with English and Malay translation and another one for memorization.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Peace be with you too @Appleblossom. I hope u have a great weekend. I will be attending a lecture tonight by a scholar, discussing a book on mindfulness and religious practises that lead to peace of mind and tranquility. I will mention you @Former-Member @eudemonism @Appleblossom in my prayers there as well as the whole creation on earth for continued blessing, guidance and a better tomorrow.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

I've come to a conclusion about death. Death means i will be resting in peace for a eternity with The Creator am where it will be as it intended to be.

Re: Coming to terms with reality

Im disheartened bye my struggles and my sufferings. Although they are inevitable. I like to think i can combat and fight against them. And avert them getting to the point of being overwhelming. But more or less. No matter what my circumstances the struggling and suffering will remain.

A philosophy i once worked on. All but makes sense now. We need others to rise ourselves above in life. And others to look up too. And happiness is essentially derived from our ability to suffer less then other human beings. Then if we portray them as the enemy. How good does that make life?

It's a scenario i been a victim of. Many times over. And it's a scenario. I have also inflicted many times over. And i figure it must be like a second nature for human beings to be a victim too. And inflict upon others. Then we or they come face to face with the portrayed victims or be in the position of inflicting.
