Daily goals, motivation and check in

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hey @BryanaCamp yea i struggle don't worry about that... but with chores and socialising... I've found i gotta realize that i am good company and people get peace and comfort from spending time with me...

+ chores are an ongoing thing... never quite get on top and in front... it's all the same stuff... washing, dishes, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning surfaces, putting things away... it's a daily thing...

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi @Bunniekins yes I found something! Dead to Me - it's a new black comedy on Netflix.

@eudemonism I hope you continue to get better. Take care today.

I know exactly what you mean @Appleblossom about books being easier to read than people - you've reminded me that I need to find a good book to get into - haven't managed that for a while.

My goal for the day is getting to work. Secondary goal is making the best of it and looking for small wins.

Go well everyone with your goals today. And special hello to anyone struggling with motivation; I'm in that leaky boat atm.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@frog it's hit and a miss with me...

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

hi @eudemonism yes, keeping house is a daily grind. I'm sure you're being modest, you seem to be very productive with housework & do lot of cleaning. I finally vacumed my rug today & thought of you! hi @frog it's cool that you're working, well done, I'm unemployed but looking for work.

I've got quite a bit done yesterday & today...

- washed kitchen floor, vacumed living room

- scrubbed half the bath, cleaned the loo

- 2 loads of laundry, big pile of dishes

- grocery shopping, amking a chicken casserole

- completed an icky appointment to the best of my abilities, glad it's over

hi all @Teej @Appleblossom @Shaz51 how are you going with your goals & motivaiton today?

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@frog  yes

I was trying to see funny side of it too ... re reading ... actually for a book worm I could not concentrate for about 7 years which was horrendous.  Now I have slowed down my reading, but doing it for enjoyment more, rather than study, work or being driven.  Just got The Forgotten Waltz by Anne Enright.

@BryanaCamp   I am a bit overwhelmed and scattered today.  Back&Neck out, No sleep. Cancelled group that was scheduled. Working on preparing for big ndis planning day tomorrow. Drove son to station, went to supermarket, sorting through papers atm. and will do Qi GOng and music to calm. Thx for asking.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

hi @Appleblossom you sound busy, hope back & neck are better today @Appleblossom and best of luck with ndis meeting, I hope you can get what you really want to out of it. Take it easy.

hi @Teej @frog @Shaz51 hope today has been good to you

I've had quite a productive day

- load of dishes, load of laundry

- folded & put away my clean laundry

- went for a 6km walk

- off to film club tonight tho it's blowing a storm outside, will definitely need the brolly.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

film club sounds interesting @BryanaCamp

@Appleblossom, hope you feel better soon xxxx

hello @eudemonism , @frog , @Teej

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Wow @BryanaCamp you are being really productive! Hope filmclub is good.

I'm really looking forward to sleeping. It's cold (below zero) and I just want to retreat.
Can't think what I achieved today. Went to work. Lots of washing, which is now hanging up all over the place inside because of the wild weather. Waiting for another load to finish now.

Hi @Shaz51 hope your day has been satisfactory Smiley Happy

@Teej @Appleblossom have a good evening.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@BryanaCamp I was really vague about the ndis.  I could not get het up about wanting anything, but my worker and the delegate were good and looking after me.  SHe said I had a good plan. It sounds like more support than I have ever had, so it should be good.

Smiley Happy

@frog I got the washing hanging all over too.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

morning all Smiley Happy

Hi @Shaz51 @frog yes, the film club is interesting. Last night it was a black & white French film from 1939. It was so interesting, I like these kinds of films as it takes me to another world & almost feels like travelling.

@Shaz51 you take good care of yourself today hon, good on you. I'm sorry to hear your mum cancelled her appointment - elderly people can be so stubborn - it sounds stressful.

Today I managed to get up at 8.30am which I'm happy with as it's been a struggle to get up before 10am. I aim to try to cook a healthy lentil soup to warm me up on a very cold & rainy day when all I feel like is chocolate!

@Appleblossom @Teej hpoe your Thursday is kind to you.
