I'm pretty drained after a taxing week.
Today I have a lot on, and am trying to prioritise what matters...
Everything else will have to fit around that, or else wait.
I have a friend who says you can only do what you can do.
@BryanaCamp good idea with the soup. Homemade is worth the effort!
Hope today goes your way @Teej @Appleblossom @Shaz51 be kind to yourselves.
Everyone setting goals today, and/or looking to boost motivation - good on you!

well done for getting through a tough week @frog . You sound like a very devoted mum (or dad, apologies there I'm sorry I don't know your gender), you're good to take care of your son & daughter's well being. Dog walking sounds nice, what kind of doggy do you have?
Great idea to prioritise, what you can't do today can wait till tomorrow. As my friend says, "the dishes won't grow legs and run away anywhere!"
Morning all on the thread @Teej @Appleblossom @Shaz51
My lentil soup turned into a bit of a mission & took all arvo but it's done now & I have a huge pot of it so it will keep me going! I'm feeling happy this morning as I got up at 8am, that's a good start. I'm off to a movie with my women's group. Then I need to pay some bills at the post office and keep up my exercise & do a walk. And my kitchen is a mess so I want to get onto that today. Got a health-cookie recipe that I'd like to try if I have the energy, it's finicky so I'll see how I go.
Good luck with your goal setting, accomplishments & self care today all.

Hearing you about sleep issues @frog
I did not sleep til after 4am.
@BryanaCamp Love your soup story. I made it a habit and have never looked back. I never make a little soup. Its always hearty, in big pot and stretches for at least 2 meals.
Reminds me time for another. I have to find more keto soups these days so have adjusted my cooking, from ole tried and troo recipes.
Today it did not look as if I did much, but I may have found a great gp, well suited to my needs and personal style. I have been around and am long in tooth, but I have the best feeling after first consult with her. She seems a rare find so therefore a huge TICK on my goal list.
Cheers All
