I've just about given up when it comes to communicating with psychiatrists, nurses, doctors and support workers. It's the same old story, nothing changes, always coming from the same prospective, never seeing things differently or from my prospective...
It's kind of like... No point in complaining because nobody listens anyway... I think it's part denial of my illness on my behalf...
Dealing with my symptoms vs dealing with side effects vs weighing up the pros and cons. I just want a good life...
My outlook is bleak... But I'm hoping for positive changes though...

Good morning @eudemonism
I can understand that you feel over the medical world...it does become very tiresome when so many seem to read one text book...respond with the same stock reply...
some people do have a closed view...black and white thinking...as you say seeing only your symptoms..
Having side effects on top of symptoms would be very draining and understandably exacerbate your motivation levels..
I can read a despondent tone in your response....
Your last sentence stands out to me....you still have hope for positive changes...I know that this can vary at times with the differing levels of your symptoms and side effects during the medication cycle...
The fact that you still have those words in your mind is the best thing that you can have ....
These are your own words..your own hopes...not those of some medical practitioner ..
This is where your strength and determination lies....
Just hang onto those feelings for a while...notice when you have them...when do they come into your mind...
Did you ever start a journal?
I hope that you continue to stay warm...Very frosty here these mornings...
Do you have early morning frost where you live? On your car windows?
speak again
take care

I do enjoy looking for new images ....helps bring me back to reality when I don't go out ...
I missed the pool yesterday....just not physically able to get there...
I might try the bike today for a short period...
How are you all travelling?
