Thank you @Sophia1 for sharing some information about yourself.
I totally agree that the real world is so rushed and pressured even the people in the medical world who should be the ones to take notice are caught up in themselves. Since spending time in hospital when my dad was sick and my various stays due to a few gallstone attacked, I have lost faith the medical world. Especially in hospital, they don't seem to communicate with each other, and things get missed.
I think because we have gone through some very bad times, we take more time to care for others, so they don't have to go through similar, or just to make their day a bit brighter. We are a very caring bunch.
The reason I asked if you have pets, is so I could direct you to the cat discussion, where we share photos of our companions and discuss all things to do with cats. If you are interest, press on this link following. The Sane Cattery Because normal is overrated My cat is similar, she can definitely tell when I am down and used to come and lay on me. Unfortunately, I have just had to move into a caravan which is on my mum's property. And at the moment, my cat hates the caravan. But she will get used to it eventually. I love that every time I walk inside mum's house, she comes running up to me. But that could also have something to do with I provide the kangaroo mince that she loves. Lol
Maybe your cat comes from a long line of Ancient Egyptian cats. They were highly revered as sacred protectors, symbolizing divine guardianship and safety. What is your cat's name? Not that he can hear it. Lol
We also have a music space where we share our favourite songs, or a song that describes how we are feeling, if you are musically inclined. A song that describes your current emotional state
I have never heard of "living with ourselves". What did that entail?
I also love nature. When I am in nature, I feel like I am at home. I have chronic back issues at the moment, so I haven't been in nature for a while, but I do go to a look out that overlooks a nice beach and have a cup of coffee, when feeling stressed or just need to get away from life for a little while. Well, I used to until I moved.
I had to look up what "I abhor labels, diagnoses even though needed in some instances" was as I have never heard it put that way before. Thank you for teaching me something. I love to soak up information and learn new things.
It depends where I am at with my mental health in regard to silence. If I am suffering from a PTSD episode, I need noise and something to take my mind away from my thoughts. When I am like this, I usually watch movies or tv shows on my phone just to keep my mind busy and thinking of something else. And this usually happens at nighttime when I am trying to sleep.
I could just tell that you are a gentle, compassionate person and that fact that you listen is an added bonus.
Like you I am very curious about all different sort of things and if I don't know about it, I ask questions or look it up.
Thank you so much for taking the time to response to my questions, so I can get to know you a bit better. I feel a connection with you, even though we haven't really communicated that much.

@Bunniekins @Shaz51 The one thing I do miss from being in the caravan park is hearing the Kookaburra's.
I noticed as I was uploading these bird pictures, that a magpie was sitting on a cable just outside the caravan. I tried to get a photo, but he/she flew away before I could get one🙁

Hello all bird observers
Nice picture @Mustang67
I have kookaburras come and visit regularly and they are always vocal
I love listening to them as I know that they have their own language and are communicating to their family
Why can't some human beings, learn from nature and wildlife?
