I hope everyone had a nice weekend?  And congrats on the music award received - well done.

I have had a pretty quiet weekend, just trying to stay grounded and calm really.  Its been a difficult few days since my psych appt on Thursday.  I wish it were easier.     Today I'm ready to try to rewrite "my story" on my thread which got pulled off on Thursday because it was too graphic. There really is no easy way to say it, but I will try to sanitize and modify it as best I can.

So a nice relaxing cuppa and chat with someone may help me get in the mood to start this process.

Faith, you're an early riser arent you?  You WA people have a new state government I see.  I hope everyone managed to get out there and vote on Saturday?  Voting is a very social occasion really, and perhaps you actually enjoyed it?

Hi @Former-Member I voted during work in dirty work clothes lol. There was an old aboriginal woman there with arm bandaged. After she voted, and made to walk off, she turned and said something in direction of table where officials were. Then repeated it. I didn't know what was happening til followed where she was looking.. it was her dog camped under table 😀 After a pause it got up and trotted off after her lol

Hi there @Former-Member, I was starting to think nobody was around this morning.

Delusional?  Yes actually I did go through a bit of that on Saturday afternoon/evening.  Not nice.  I am feeling a little better today thankfully.  So thanks.  

But no I'm not delusional about voting - I actually like visiting schools and buying some yummy cakes, lamingtons, slices, etc.  All in a good cause to support schools, sporting groups, etc.

Where do you get all your little (or in this case, big) emoticons?  My PC dont have anything like that.

@Former-Member  sorry about your saturday state of mind...  you know I was j/k re the weird "enjoyment" factor..  but yes you are right about the ousted sitting party.

well I found out that by hitting crl/command/spacebar on my macbook air keypad.. I get a heap of them.  But before discovering that I was copying off other peoples and pasting them in.  So if you don't have a mac you could maybe do that until you figure out an alternative?

Then I just resized them with the usual font sizer because they are txtedit format which is treated by the computer as text.

btw the Adelaide girls lost despite sarah perkins kicking that last goal to get them within 2 points that was a bummer!  😒  Now they pretty much have to win this week or they will miss out.

Yes @Former-Member, I saw that game.  Sarah did well and got them back into the game, but all too late.  Hopefully Adelaide win this week and make it through the final against Brissy.

Did you watch the Swans last night against St Kilda?  Swans managed to drag themselves over the line.  But they were far from impressive in the process.  Still got a number of players to come back in though, and this pre season comp is allowing a lot of their young players to get a run.

My Canberra Raiders got flogged by the reigning premiers Cronulla on the weekend.  All the experts were tipping Raiders to win, but I couldnt figure out why.  Home ground maybe.  Anyway they were disappointing. 

@TAB  - ha ha, the old drovers dog aye?
