Feeling a bit body-slammed after an eventful yesterday, and as though everything is out of kilter .... so I am wearing my favourite colour as a symbol of “I can do this” ..... and getting through my day.

The symbol that describes my very personal fall into insanity and then rise to recovery is the Phoenix. Rising from the ashes of its firey death, only to be born again into a new life; a second chance at living...

A cross is a symbol of my faith which gave me strength when Mr Darcy attempted.

An anchor is a symbol of the hope that I held onto, that we can live well in spite of his diagnosis.

My wedding ring is the symbol of my love for Mr D and the commitment I made to him.
