Hello @MDT,
Thank you for sharing your honest truth with the community. It demonstrates true bravery and courage. When someone shares their vulnerable self, it gives others permission to be vulnerable too. By sharing what you are going through, our community is reminded that they are not alone and that there are people that understand them.
I can really relate with feeling empty, being tired of being that way and not knowing how to change it. This too shall pass. Until it does, we are here to support you and we are so glad that you are here!
In the meantime, please be reminded that the Support Centre is available for 1:1 phone calls with our experienced counselling team should you require additional support to help you get through this stage. Here is the link: https://www.sane.org/counselling-support/sane-support-services
Thank you
ButterflyBeauty 🙂

@MDT , I’ve felt that, too, about relaxing during the weekday. For me, it has helped to do things for my parents, although they don’t really need it yet. I’ve also been volunteering, even though it’s just been one day a week, it’s still been enough to have that sense of purpose that comes with a job.

@MDT It's awesome you are listening to your body and not trying to push through it. Your body is definitely getting drained so sleeping is part of its healing process.

I listened to this podcast the other day and it talked about the physical aspects of the body of grief.
I know the scenario would be different for you and what you are going through, but it also might get you thinking about the physical responses you are experiencing when you have a rough day.
