Taking the plunge

Re: New Post: Re: Taking the plunge

I believe that trust in ourselves and in others is the hardest thing to acquire @Maggie - and when that trust hs been shattered by so many and so many times throughout our lives how do we ever trust anyone or ourselves. The constant mistrust of others leaves us feeling hollow and more often than not lost and in immense pain until the day that that pain no longer exists either because we just do not have any energy left to actually feel anything or the hurt is so great that we shutdown. Maybe this is where you are looking at the CORE of you - it is that thing deep inside that no longer feels - that does not mean that it is not there anymore but that so much has happened that you feel numb right to your core. It is a lonely place when you feel numb to your core - you can't interact with anyone, you feel all emotions yet you feel nothing, you don't know how you are going to get up each day and keep going and daily tasks seem insummountable - but we do keep going and it is often that small touch of our fur babies or the love shown from people here that keep us going - finding the small things that help us to continue to put one foot in front of the other is what sustains us Hon - and that is what we are giving you here - loads and loads of love Heart

@Zoe7 What can I say to such a heartfelt response, even though the feels are numb, you touched them and I thank you for that. I'd send the biggest heart if I could, but this is all I can manage over the waves. 💜💜💜

@CheerBear When your name pops up, as it usually does, it's always a good feel. I know things are tough for you right now, tough being a mild word for it actually. Thank you for reading and responding. 💕💕💕

@Faith-and-Hope You are also struggling, always giving, always reaching out, no matter what. Thankyou for listening. 💛💛💛

I'm looking at the flat in an hours time, so a few steps happening. My angel in blue jeans is picking me up and being my voice.

I hope there are some small warm moments today for you all.

It is easy to let the little things get to us when we are dealing with the bigger things in life also @Maggie - You know I get that so much also Smiley Sad

I hope this flat works out for you - and that you too can find moments of joy today - will be thinking of you Hon HeartHeartHeart

Re: New Post: Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie. Its been raining here where I am this morning and I've been having my coffee listening to the sound of it. I heard the birds come out as it eased up and I went for a wander in the garden where I could smell one of my favourite scents - daphne. From memory it is one you like also so I wanted to share it with you.

Such a strong scent for such a quiet little flower. I appreciate that a lot.

I'm thinking of you this morning wondering how yesterday went and hoping you're as OK as you can be ❤

Re: New Post: Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I took a pic of my Daphnie this morning also. It's the first time mine has bloomed, so,, I have got to see it before I leave.

The flat is good. I have to fix up bond and rent assistance monday, hoping to move next Saturday all going wellish. Ticking things off one by one.

How are you doing @CheerBear ?? I'm not reading atm, just answering if anyone drops by. Meet you in the morning for a cuppa. Thanks for thinking of me, I appreciate you.

@Zoe7@Faith-and-Hope@Shaz51@Former-Member As above regarding flat and stuff. Hi to everyone, sending warm thoughts from freezing tassie.

Re: New Post: Re: Taking the plunge

Great news about the flat @Maggie I know it won't be the same for you but it is good that you have found somewhere Heart

Our little island state here is going to get even colder tomorrow - I went to the shop and the chemist today so I don't have to go out tomorrow - only expecting 9 in Hobart - not sure what you are expecting up your end of the state?
