Re: Celebrate Today

@frog I'm so glad your daughter comes home from overseas.  That is so good to have her home again.

Enjoy getting your hair cut, it's always nice doing that 🙂

I can't really celebrate much today

All i did was

make bolognaise sauce for dinner

I had a shower

made the bed

Re: Celebrate Today

Hi @frog, very glad it's the finish of the working week for you. Enjoy the hair cut and hope it works out to your liking. Wonderful that your daughter is returning from travel! Smiley Happy

Hi @BlueBay, you did more than me today. I too made the bed. The only other thing I did was get washed and dressed (about 3.30pm!), have breakfast and meds, and some vegemite toast (which I also made). Low energy day, recovering from a big day yesterday. I'll celebrate that I did  get out of bed and do those few things anyway. I also celebrate what you did. Bolognaise, yum, and something that takes a bit of effort. Smiley Happy

Re: Celebrate Today

@frog Hope you're happy with your hair. There will be lots of catching up with D returning home. Enjoy.

Re: Celebrate Today

Definitely 2 big things to celebrate @frog.

Must be exciting to know you'll be seeing her soon. And you'll be looking gorgeous with a fresh haircut.

Re: Celebrate Today

Those things, are worth celebrating @BlueBay. And you made it through another day.

Re: Celebrate Today

@Maggie. A good list of things to celebrate today. Some days are hard to get in the shower. I can go more than a,week without. But when I finally have a shower, it feels so good. Makes me instantly feel a bit better

Re: Celebrate Today

Today:

  • wake, get up, breakfast, meds
  • forum for a short time
  • brought in washing from yesterday (5 loads), folded, put away
  • did 4 loads of washing (basket now empty)
  • had leftover quiche for lunch
  • hung out all washing
  • changed bedding (after way too long)
  • phone with hospital about test results (good news)
  • phone with mum and a friend
  • some video editing between tasks

Big days at the moment because there is a rental flat inspection happening here in a couple of days. I try (not always successfully) to approach these inspections (every three months, dammit), as a time to give the flat a more thorough clean than usual. We want to stay in this place as long as possible, so anxiety always with me about satisfying the onsite manager's high standards. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get finished all the remaining tasks on my long 'to do' list. That, and have a shower (after too long). With any luck, I and the flat will then be sparkling. Wish me luck!
