Daily goals, motivation and check in

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Wow, good effort @BryanaCamp and @eudemonism

I don't know how you managed all that with the flu eude.

My motivation is down today, but I did manage to vacuum the car and am half way through the ironing. I'm going to look up Netflix to see if I can find something light and fluffy (and preferrably funny) to watch while ironing.

Then I have cooking to do - tonights dinner, plus preparing one for tomorrow. Just feel tired and flat Smiley Frustrated

Hey @eudemonism

Good to get all that stuff going as well as socialising.  I know some of the mental health stuff can seem a bit like buzzwords, but you are getting a balance happening, man ...

@frog Hugs for flat feelings, though sometimes I feel I need ten hugs to shift a flat feeling when really down.

@BryanaCamp Keep it up, the simple things and the treats.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@frog no worries. Sounds like you got the evening sorted out. Way to go. And you've influenced me to start thinking about cleaning my car. And flu was at it's worst yesterday and day before that.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Appleblossom thanks a bundle for the kind; caring support...

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Its the least I can do. @eudemonism

Its a pretty ugly world without it, but best for me not to open that can of worms atm.

Socialising has always been tricky for me.  Working out who is good and or going to rip me off or hurt my family ... lots of things to read .... still struggle with it ...

reading people ...books can be easier.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Appleblossomyes... we're all only human... we can only do so much...

I have found that its good to have a few social outlets. But still have your own space. It's also good to speak and hear the truth even if it hurts. But still be respected as an individual .

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@frog  Hi frog hoping you are feeling a bit better now. Did you find something to watch afterall?

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@eudemonism I agree about speaking the truth, though often I have chosen silence rather than throw oil on a fire ...

I feel I bend over backward to be kind and diplomatic, but every now and then, usually well after 3 times stepping on my toes, my roar comes out.  I prefer to think of it as a lioness' roar ...

Not sure if this resonates for you ... but it sure does for me ...

Took a while to figure out ....Took a while to figure out ....

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

well done @eudemonism you're very productive, maybe you can teach me a thing or two about chores! I can only manage one thing a day, grocery shopping or cookery, not both on one day. I did loads of cleaning today waiting for the nbn guys to arrive so that's good. It's great you're being social

good luck @frog , again I think that's alot to do in one day. I don't iron (too lazy to have any clothes that need ironing) but if I vacume that's all I can manage for a day, I can't cook as well. I hope you found some entertaining netflix.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Appleblossom better of speaking your mind and telling the truth even if it hurts and makes you seem nasty... it's probably best for yourself and also them...
