Re: Icebreakers time!

I love that @Jacques, SANE would be very grateful I'm sure 💰 and the people who are homeless would have their lives changed in so many ways by your generousity ❤️

I can ralate to wanting to see where you dad was born as I would love to see my mums house in Leeds. I was there in th UK but my mental health kicked in while on that trip so made everything very challenging.

Lovely to look after your mum!

Thanks for taking a turn!

Touché @RiverSeal Kudos. Brilliantly witty response. I hope to see more of it 😇

Re: Icebreakers time!

@Glisten okay, 5 days in NZ horseback riding it is. Much more fun than driving across the Nullabor.

It's not a bucket list thing, I have done the Nullabor as a child when we moved back to the west so I don't remember much.

Apparently we stopped for a break along the way and passing cars gave mum glares because she had tied me to a tree with a leash. Before you start feeling sorry for me, the leash was long and I had a bowl of water. I am KIDDING! Yes, mum did tie me to a tree because I had a tendency of just taking off. I was a little hyperactive as a kid and mum said I would stop in the middle of the road to inspect a hole in the bitumen, oblivious to the cars passing by.

When we lived in Melbourne I decided to go visit my dad on base. I crossed a busy road successfully and mum had to come and get me. She didn't have a car which is probably a good thing as the walk would have calmed her down.

Back to the icebreaker -

No crossing the Nullabor with my Tomaatti, we are going to NZ to ride horses. Are we allowed to stay longer and do a cruise around the islands as well?

Re: Icebreakers time!

@ENKELI  I laughed and laughed until I choked and coughed and laughed some more 😂

Sure we can stay longer and do a cruise around the islands. We can climb a mountain, we can swim the sea
We can jump into the fire . . Nope sorry they are song lyrics. The ghost of
Harry Nilsson interrupted me.

We can do anything we want 😇

Re: Icebreakers time!

@Glisten so glad I got you laughing, sorry about the choking though!

I'd love to visit NZ. Mum enjoyed her trip around the islands when she spent part of my inheritance on a cruise that did the islands. Unfortunately the weather was choppy around one part which she was miffed about because that was the main area she wanted to see.

My ex was a kiwi and he was going to take me. We were going to drive from Auckland to Hamilton where his mum and brother lived but he chose to break us up by bonking some bint he knew from his work.

Despite that I still want to go visit the Island of Sheeps.

Re: Icebreakers time!

@ENKELI I think I’m answering the wrong message but @rav3n @Glisten @RiverSeal @Jacques think we are giggling if your well over him but

i digress …….

“Bint is stuck with him. “

( I really hope you’re well over him because I feel he might be that type……

personally i love the opposite sex. It must be hard for all men to know that we know everything. Now I’m not being sexist or racist or anything ….. this is not my intention.

Re: Icebreakers time!

@Glisten my uncle was a wool classer and still knows most of the station owners in the Murchison. I'll get him to phone a friend.

Lambing season is wonderful!

Of course I would have to bring MM with us. Goes without saying really 😺
